Reflexology
Reflexology, also known as zone therapy is a practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet and hands and specific finger techniques throughout. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect the entire body and organs of the body. Creating physical and mental relaxation and balance to our entire system.
Acupressure
Acupressure therapy consists of holding one or more Acu-point simultaneously, being held with a gentle yet deep finger pressure until there is a release. The finger pressure is adjusted from gentle to strong depending on what’s needed to release the soreness or tension and allowing for relaxation. Released energy moves from areas of excess to areas of deficiency, creating balance in the whole system and allowing it to be available where needed. The session will focus on a combination of points throughout the whole body. The session will include balancing steps, followed by centering and final grounding methods before completion.
Deep Tissue
Flowing, firm pressure to release muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle, tissue, tendons and fascia. Combined with joint release techniques, shiatsu point work and body alignment stretching.
Chinese cupping may be included on request. The use of silicone cups can be used to draw muscle layers into the cups instead of applying direct pressure. The cups will be both moved gently along an area or left in place on the body. Assisting in relieving muscle tension and to disperse and break up stagnation.
Facials
Acupressure Facial
The face, head and neck will be fully addressed during this treatment. These areas reflect our daily tensions and with a deeply relaxing massage we can work on acu-points in the face, head, and neck in a way of also working on all meridians in the body. Facial beauty is characterized by a relaxed but resilient muscular state. A relaxing and therapeutic session allowing for physical release as well as emotional relief. Allowing for you to feel completely content in your entire body, just by reliving facial tensions.
Gua Sha & Facial Cupping
Cupping is an alternative therapy that uses cups to stimulate your skin and muscles. Facial cups are continuously moving and gently pull the skin away from the deeper layer of fascia, rejuvenating the skin without leaving marks behind.
Facial Gua Sha is specially designed to reduce inflammation and provide overall wellness by boosting blood flow and nourishing collagen. The techniques are used for decreasing puffiness and diminishing fine lines, wrinkles and spots as well as providing an extremely relaxing treatment. Gem stones are used to massage the face producing an immediate difference in complexion, these techniques are deeply therapeutic and non-invasive.
